stayNE exists because Nebraska is full of extraordinary places that most travel guides completely miss. A treehouse 18 feet up in two cottonwood trees. An actual castle in the plains. Badlands that look like Mars. Cabooses you can sleep in. A yurt positioned perfectly for the sandhill crane migration. Carhenge.

This platform was built by someone who lives here, loves it here, and got tired of Nebraska being underestimated. Every spot on stayNE is chosen for one reason: it made us stop and say wait — that is in Nebraska?
